OKRs, an acronym for objectives and key results, are a methodology first implemented by Intel and popularised by Google amongst others. In essence, OKR is about focusing on what is a priority. In the OKR framework, the objectives describe the goal we want to achieve and the key results are the metrics that quantify whether we are moving in the right direction.

OKRs express priorities. Execution routines enable the results to be achieved.
